The Head-Royce Theatre Department presents their fall production, Oscar Wilde's "The Importance of Being Earnest." Set in Victorian England, the story follows Jack and Algernon as they attempt to woo two young ladies, Gwendolyn and Cecily, who both believe they are destined to love a man called Earnest. The masterpiece is probably the most famous of all comedies. It revolves wittily around the most ingenious case of "manufactured" mistaken identity ever put into a play. Directed by Kathleen Ray and Alice Chu.
